呢個好易整,又好味,大家都試下吖.
Ingredients:
170 g butter, softened
100 g white sugar
2 egg yolks
220 g Plain flour
1/2 teaspoons baking power
Strawberry Jam (any flavor)
1.In a bowl, cream butter, sugar and egg yolks together. Mix in flour a little bit at a time until a soft dough forms. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Place balls 2 inches apart onto a baking tray. Use your finger to make a well in the center of each cookie and fill with jam.
2.Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven(190 degree), until golden brown on the bottom. Remove from cookies to cool on wire racks.
二月十八日是BB生日,隨了肥牛"打邊爐"外,還做了個士多啤梨蛋糕.本來我想用朱古力寫字,不過失敗左啦.
我的簡易做法:
1.Sponge Cake---Simply use "Sponge Cake Mix". Bake 20 mins. Split into two parts.
2.Cream---Beat whipping cream,butter,vanilla extra and icing sugar together until thick. Keep refrigerate.
3.Strawberry---Put diced strawberry and cream between two sponge cakes. And put strawberry on the surface for decoration.
初四,係Trafalgar Square 有大型的celebration.聽講係因為要宣傳北京奧運,所以特別著緊.表演由中午12點到6點,表演者大部份來自北京.我同BB都有去湊熱鬧.
平時行街累了,會到Starbucks買一杯熱朱古力加cream配一個muffin,有飽有暖,係我既至愛.Hot chocolate可以自己沖,muffin都可以自己整.之前已經整過提子味,朱古力味,檸檬味,原味.一直到沒試classic既blueberry同raspberry.今次終於試左啦,不過都係Starbucks好味d.

這陣子,一連看了多本蔡瀾作品,"老瀾遊記三","四位老友","四趣也", "蔡瀾七談日本"....等都相當好看吖.於是上網查閱其他相關資料,才知道原來無線四月時有蔡瀾飲食特輯---蔡瀾逛菜欄. 其中一集講到順德"薑汁撞奶",做法簡易.
這裡我想略帶一提,London物價高昂,百物騰貴,唯獨奶類產品相對便宜, 一支1.136 litre的鮮奶賣76 pence,比一支350 ml的可樂還要平.所以英式奶茶都用鮮奶去沖.嘻嘻,用來做薑汁撞奶絕對不用吝惜,就算失敗了也不怕呀.幸好第一次做,嘗算成功.
1)放一湯匙薑汁於碗內.
2)牛奶於煲內放糖輕拌,用溫火煮至70~80度(蔡瀾話睇到旁邊有小泡泡就得)
3)快手將牛奶倒入薑汁碗內,蓋上等三,四分鐘.
好神奇地,牛奶真的會凝固.食落有點兒似豆腐花.好味吖!
這裡提供了不少traditional western food的做法,又可以一面學英文.我依照住她的方法冲了杯hot chocolate,好好味,不過實在是有點兒有麻煩.

自從上次整完Fruit tart之後,就冇整過pastry. 今次試下整BB成日食既mini apple pie.
Making Pastry:
200g plain flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
115g butter,chilled
1 egg yolk
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
2-3 tablespoons iced water
Mix the ingredients together to form a dough,wrap in cling film and chill for at least 30 mins.
Apple filing:
2 apples, diced, slight cook with lemon juice,vanilla essence,sugar and cinnamon. Fill the pastry case with the apple mixture.
Making the top layer and deocration.(呢步好好玩呀,任你做咩圖案都得.就o黎聖誕節,所以我做左個Christmas pattern).
焗出黎既時侯真係好香,因為有牛油,蘋果同肉桂粉既香味.同上次整fruit tart比,今次快左好多.前後用左兩個鐘.哈哈.
一連幾個posts都係關於食.冇法啦~.....因為我發覺我已經變左個師奶.而又冇可否認係London生活,對我而言提供左一個良好既烹飪環境;1)唔使番工,2)廚房設備齊全,因素:1)外出選擇不多,2)外出飲食唔就腳,3)外出飲食貴(當然同香港比較).
呀喲!....要講番我d蛋糕仔先,今次我跟足西式食譜做,有"西方"既口味------就係個人認為太甜啦.
Cup cakes(making 12):
125g self-raising flour
125g butter
125g caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 tbsp milk
Preheat the oven to 190C, mix the ingredients together, spoon into the tin and bake for 12~15mins until golden on the top.
Lemon icing topping:
50g icing sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
Some lemon skins
Mix the juice into the icing sugar and stir until well blended. Drizzle over the cakes when cooled. Top with some lemon skins.
